Our Programs
Music Therapy comes in a variety of colors, shapes, and sizes according to the individuals it serves. At Music Therapy of Idaho, we offer the following to our clients:
Music Therapy of Idaho, LLC provides music therapy services to individuals in Boise, Eagle, Meridian, Nampa and Caldwell.
Private Individual Sessions
Rate: $60-65 per session plus mileage reimbursement
Private individual sessions take place in the client's home and last 50 minutes. They can involve involve 1:1 work between client and therapist, co-treating with another member of the child's treatment team, and/or teamwork between parent/therapist/child. In individual sessions, all music making and activities are designed with the client's personal goals in mind.
Private Group Sessions
Rate: $25/participant per session plus mileage reimbursement
Private group sessions are typically started to provide a place for an existing group of individuals to grow together or work toward specific group goals. This can include siblings, friends, support groups, etc, though the therapist may recommend alterations to the group if he/she deems it therapeutically necessary. These sessions typically involve 3-6 individuals, last 50 minutes long, and take place in the home of one of the individuals.
Open Group Sessions
Music Therapy of Idaho has partnered with several organizations in the Treasure Valley to make music therapy groups available to clients with specific common qualities, ages, diagnoses, or needs. Groups are added frequently, so check back soon if the ones listed do not seem to fit.
